The Buduchnist Patronage Plan rewards members for continued patronage and this year will mark the eleventh consecutive issue of patronage dividends.  Dividends paid out during that period total $6.9 million. 

The Buduchnist Patronage Plan is based on the dollar value of your business with the Credit Union.  Your deposits, loans, mortgages and active lines of credit are eligible.  Based on BCU's success in 2007, the Board approved a combined cash and patronage dividend of $480,000.  The key component of the Plan is a patronage dividend, which this year pays $0.50 per $1,000 of business with Buduchnist.  Member shares earned a dividend of 4.0%, while Bonus shares earned a dividend of 4.5%.

In addition, Bonus Shares are eligible for a Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP) contribution with Buduchnist.
